Tomorrow morning, I’m taking an important test (broken into two subtests).
It’s the ORELA: Multiple Subjects test I and II. I have to take these prior to my student teaching/is one step into eventually getting a teaching license.
Together, these subtests will question my abilities of math, language arts, science, social science (government, civics, economics, geography, u.s. history, world history, Oregon history) arts (visual, dance/theater, music), and P.E./Health.
WOOOAH!
So.much.content -__-
Honestly, this is all information that I have acquired over my 13+ years of school….but still….I don’t remember EVERYTHING. That’s so much stuff for my brain, and with College mostly focusing towards other types of classes, I hardly had much time to touch base with a lot of content.
So tomorrow will be stressful/interesting, but I will do my best because that’s all I can really do. I can always retake them again in June, but that just means another $200 out of my pocket…so unnecessary! Plus, would I realistically have time to ‘study more?’ this term? Heck no! Would be very hard because of my load this term….*le sigh*
BUT I REPEAT! I shall do my best because that’s all I can do (and pray to the testing gods that questions will be given that I can actually somewhat answer).
The format is 60 MC with two constructed responses per test (so tomorrow I will be tackling 120 MC with four constructed responses in a max time of four hours).
I’d feel more prepared if I actually knew EXACTLY what to study for….but, that’s not possible. It could literally be a question on ANYTHING 0_0
There is really no fudging this kind of test…you either know the answer, or you don’t.
Can’t wait to ‘get it over with!’
